If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Yes, I know, there are a lot of websites, who share home made stuff how to.
Sometimes I just sit and wonder.
If I have to spend a whole week searching for the ingredients, maybe even more money than buying an original ecological product, then why?
Why should I lose my time and money for creating something that does not make sense?
If it's for fun, it's ok, but otherwise I'd just leave it all.
I tell you my reasons for creating at home:
It's surely ecologic
Easy to do.
I save plastic bottles.
I save money.
And I also have fun.
First thing, I only create home made stuff if it does not need a lot of ingredients, and the effort is minimum.
And once again:
Let's keep it simple!
Home made basics in the kitchen
Just wash, cut, dehydrate for a night celery stalks
and use it as table salt.:-)
Home made tooth paste
Home made laundry detergent:
50 g laundry bar soap
1 l of distilled water
Directions: Heat the grated soap with the water stirring constantly. Cover. Let it sit overnight.
Shake stir or blend 'till smooth, then pour into a bottle or an empty detergent container.
I add a tsp. of sodium bicarbonate when washing white linen.
Home made softener:
Simply mix 1/3 of white vinegar with 2/3 of distilled water.
Add about 20 drops of your favorite essential oil. and you're done. :-)
Because Raw Food should be for everyone. Simple and plain as it is.
